Had to cut radar cable...

... It's been about 13 years since I've done this type of work and hopefully it all comes back to me. ...

You might want to just splice the wires back with these. If you don't have a micro torch lighter you might want to pick-up one of those as well. This should get you going again, but over next winter I would replace the connector with properly crimped wires. Just another option to get you going again.

Trying to figure out how to insert the wires into the connector plug. Not sure I have a screw driver small enough for this task. Push in with screw driver and then slide wire in?

Don't damage that little connector - can't be replaced...
And the left most wire is a coaxial cable that all of the magic rides on; splicing it will probably not be successful or if it does work the signal will be compromised. It is a tiny wire. The shield needs to cover that wire as far as possible. The picture in post 6 is perfect.
Many of us that had the Ray Pathfinder radars usually find our issues end up being that wire bundle from the scanner to the display.

I didn't think the that applied any longer, with the newer radars (new compared to the very old Furuno). I know you couldn't cut or shorten the cable due to calibration issues etc. But if that radar is still all analog, you are very correct and the cable needs to be replaced even, but definitely no splicing.

EDIT: Apparently splicing is acceptable: https://forum.raymarine.com/showthread.php?tid=1241&highlight=shorten+cable

But to Tom's point, probably not wise.
