Hampton Roads VA. What to do ?

Feeling fortunate to be near the epicenter of coastal activity. Well, for the area anyway.....
Portsmouth Va.'s Portside "waterstage" offer's free concerts on Thursday nights throughout the summer. Tie up NEXT to the stage and be a PART of the action !
Norfolk has the Wine-fest/ Beef-fest/ Beer-fest and other Waterside docking attractions at least twice a month.
Suffolk Va. will be our first outing of the year as their Wine event is April 8th. Docking at The Smithfield Station.
Hampton Va. has some haps during the summer as well.
Am I missing any ??


To make a good situation even better, I'm slipped less than 15 minutes away from the most of this entertainment !
AND......... I'm about 10 minutes from 30" stripers too, but that's another post.....

Just scoot around the corner and go to Rudees Inlet and stay at Rudees. Plenty to do within a walk.

Smithfield Station, Bourbon Bacon / Wine Festival (my wife loved the place and town) Richmond, Rocketts Landing. Jump over to the Eastern Shore.

It's going to be very cool! The company I work for is doing all the audio/video systems so we've been involved for awhile. Our work is scheduled to be completed later this month, and AV is one of the last trades, so opening shouldn't be too far away!

I put myself on the email list for Waterside, it looks as if it has a good chance at a comeback!

First overnighter of the year scheduled for April 8th. Docking up at Smithfield Station, Smithfield VA, for the Annual Winefest. Located at Windsor Castle Park. It sold out in a few days again this year.
Guess we'll find out if the heating system works...
