Hardwood floor in cabin - anyone know a contractor in Long Island, NY?

I was shocked with that number.... Nuteak said just material was $2,000... I really don't get that number either and $7,500 to install??
I asked about Faux teak in the cockpit and he said without the swim platform it was $10k.... I dont know who is paying these numbers but it isnt going to be me

Wow, that looks incredible. That's exactly what I was looking at!!! the carpets on the deck look fantastic as well.

I don’t know anyone on the island who does this work. However I’ve been thinking about putting something like the Nauteak or Loinseal down in the cabin of mine too.

I bet a good tile person could get this job done with ease.

Probably better than carpet guys. It takes a lot of precision cutting that tile people do a lot of.

I did teak and caulk in my runabout/tender. I started with a rough beam of material and planed and sliced it into 2 1/4 by 1/8 thick strips. I was working in an open boat with all the interior removed from inside a closed shop. I lost track of hours long after I hit the 100 hour mark. I might do my 290 when I am retired and have lots of free time on my hands.

I am sure I have met him if he is on the same dock. Not sure if I know who he is....does he have the 40 ft sea ray?
So funny, i don't think its the same guy, but i might be that 40 ' on the dock. Sounds like we need a dock social and clear up this face to face! ...oops, damn that time of year, maybe its a parking lot party!
