Having trouble understanding current events

I do not subscribe to the use of "retard" to describe a person. Retardation, Autism, mentally challenged or whatever you call it is a known medical condition that affects hundreds of thousands.

I remember it was used alot when I was in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL as an insult. I've grown since then.

Libtard is a made up word to describe those who are too far left in the rights opinion.

Adding to the invalidity is the fact that only one side is used for the "factual" basis of arguments. True critical thinkers will wade through both sides and formulate thier own opinion based on thier take of the opposing facts.

A sheeple is opposite of that:
Takes one side of the information only
Embraces the message and gets in line
Admonishes those who don't
Follows blindly
Runs out of logical arguments and resorts to insults and "trigger" words

Sheeple is also a made up word, I would say by the right to describe what they think are the blind following thier Guvment bidding.

Niether Libtard or Sheeple are personal attacks because they are based on made up words. They are characterizations at best, petty insults at worst.

I am an American that loves my country and what is best for all the people. But to be clear, our current admimistration is the laughing stock of the world and most of it's own citizens. It is not better, unless you look at it from a "libtard" view. I have been around for 6 decades and have seen a bit and even impacted personally by certain administrations. We are not in a good spot at all.

I have a brother with Down syndrome and Autism ...he was pretty bad off as a kid and went to a care facility. He is living a fairly good life today. It was quite common back when he was a kid to say he was mentally retarded, everyone said it when describing his condition and never thought twice about it.... when you grow up being told that and saying it it was not a big deal... I don't take offense to it....because to me it means Downs.
So....to call someone Downs today to be politically correct or woke ...probably wouldn't have the same effect …but means the same thing…… So I say stick with azzhole....it has definitely stood the test of time :)

I parked the boat and have been working my ass off ever since…. I can barely keep up with sleep let alone current events….I saw Let’s go Brandon and was told it meant Phuck Joe Biden and that was good enough for me :)
