Purchased my 1986 340 Sundancer from a family friend this fall. First boat of this class with lots to learn.

Time with the boat at this point was cleaning and removing 10 down comforters worth of dog hair left by the owner, looking things over and a one hour ride on the way to take it for storage.

Love the boat and I am spending far too much time thinking about projects considering I have 5 months before it will see water again (Great Lakes winter).

I appreciate all of the contributors to the threads I have been reading through, such a wealth of knowledge!

Welcome Erik. You will find a wealth of knowledge and experience here. We here is the great lakes are fully in endurance mode. 16 weeks until boat launch

Welcome from Idaho! I also just bought our '92 300DA, and it went in the water just long enough to find out the bellows were leaking. It sucks having to wait for next spring! Take lots of pictures; we like pictures.

Cheboygen (Duncan Bay Boat Club) Is where home will be for the new family member.

Don't judge the pictures too harshly....boy do I still have my work cut out for me.

Erik E, I have family in the Duncan Bay Area, my father spends most of his time up there as he has a place on Duncan Bay. I have taken out boat to Duncan Bay Boat Club. Nice facility!!!
