My 4th Sea Ray Sundancer....recently new to me. my Sundancer 48! I've learned tons about my Cummins QSC 8.3's thanks to SeaBoard Marine. If you have a diesel boat and don't know about their site, it's a must visit:https://www.sbmar.com/search-sbmar/
It took me about a year to find my boat because I educated myself on these engines using the site and was extra picky and careful not to buy a boat with cooling problems.

Damn, that boat looks HUGE with you standing next to it. How about more pics, including the interior?

Beautiful boat. A friend just traded up to one just like it from a 420 last year. His 420 was a really nice boat but the 480 is fantastic and a huge step up. Especially that aft cabin.

And they don't shrink much when you get 'em wet...

The 48...Quite possibly the best Sea Ray ever! I had my heart set on a 55 until I realized I'd never find anybody to work on the Man's in my area. Considered the 54 but the Zeus drives are a no go. The Cummins 8.3 is an amazing and solid engine if maintained. You can't beat this boat and with just a little knowledge anybody can take care of regular maintenance. I pulled the heat exchangers the other day just to check and clean them. No, I'm not a mechanic I just read and watch a lot of YouTube :)

You have a bunch of homey's around you in the Sea Ray Boat Club of Northern California. They are a bunch of great folks who all own Sea Ray's...HUMP (Ken) on this site is a past Commodore of the club and can tell you all the way cool trips they make in the Delta, and the Bay.

You got a great boat there capt'in !

I lived in Sacramento a couple of different times most recently from '06 to '16. We kept our boats at Oxbow Marina in Isleton. Where are you keeping yours?

I'm at the Sacramento Marina at the moment. It's City run so the docks are nice and the marina is pretty clean overall. I'll move it to Sausalito in September to catch the Indian Summer. Can't beat Sausalito in September to November timeframe.
