Welcome. What are you paying for boat gas and what is car gas price?
Gas in British Columbia seems to be around $1.50 a liter. CDN money and yours are close to par.

Fuel prices sound similar but depends on the octane you're talking and day of the week you buy. Generally 95 RON is only available on the water, whilst I use BP98 in my cars which was $1.67 when I filled up the other day. 91 RON can be had for much cheaper but I don't use it so I couldn't tell you the price.
Fuel prices on the water can vary as much as 20 cents a litre on the same day depending where you're buying, i.e. island vs mainland.
