Sold first boat 240 DA which I had for 14 years and purchased 98 330 DA. TVD 7.4 MPI

Stupid question - what is the single round handle faucet/spickit which is located in the rear starboard storage hatch used for? It is next to what looks like a R11 TV cable socket. There is already a hot and cold shower faucet on the stern by the fender locker.

Much to learn and so if there are any 330 DA threads I'm all ears.

I'm in the same boat so to speak, having just purchased my '97 330DA. There is a 330 Sundancer thread in the Sport Cruiser section with a lot of information if you have a day or two to read through it. Regarding the faucet, that has to be a cockpit wash down. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to that the couple times I've been on the boat, but assume it's fed by the fresh water system.

Welcome to CSR, Randy!

I was thinking it was that and thanks for the thread ref. I will ck it out

ps still learning how to update my prefrences with boat pic Thx again

Welcome to the Club... You will have all kinds of helpful folks on this site.

Welcome aboard! Good to see another Buckeye on board. We are in West Harbor. Hope to see you on the water this summer.

Welcome and congratulations on the new purchase. Where are you keeping the boat in Port Clinton?

Welcome to CSR and congrats on your new boat. Yes, the spigot in the starboard storage compartment is a freshwater (uses your onboard water system) washdown. I use it once a year in the fall when I hook up my air compressor to winterize the water system.

Welcome......been visiting the Islands since the 80's!

Mine has one spigot on each side at the transom. One sea water with its own separate pump while the other uses the potable water and its pump. Nice since I'm in clean fresh water for washing, but it needs to be primed each season before use.

Thanks for the welcome messages and information sites. Hope to see many of you at the Bay as soon as the weather breaks.

Hi Blueone nice pic and it looks like the Crew's Nest PIB. I come out of the East Harbor channel from Marine City.

Yes that Crews nest... We spent a lot of time there last year. We moved the boat from St Clair to Lake Front Marina late in the season last summer. I don't know the area at all. So no idea where you are but I see your a side tie as well.... Seems like most marinas are like that in Ohio....not convinced I like that just yet.
