New SeaRay owner here, well... new to me anyways. I just picked up a nice deal an extremely well-kept 1994 180 BR Signature with a new motor paid for by insurance as the previous owner's storage facility lost their heat and the block cracked. Ice is almost out on the lakes here, so I should see what kind of deal it really was in the next week or so.

Stepping my way up from an older Larson BR with a 90hp Johnson Outboard. This is my first I/O. I have my eyes on newer and larger down the road, but need to have garage-friendly storage for now. Glad to have found this forum... need to poke around a bit to find a manual. If anyone can point me to the right threads, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Nice boat, many years ago we were there with a 18 footer, then a 230 weekender two years later. 260 after that and now a 320SD. A fun journey. Enjoy it!

Thanks, that's a great looking vessel you have. I will eventually have to reconcile my desire for a bigger boat with the fact that the family cabin of 40+ years is on a shallow lake!

Welcome to CSR. Do I smell a newer cabin on a larger and deeper lake before you next bigger boat?
It will be tough to let go of that one for sentimental reasons, but we do have a lot of lakes much closer to where I live!

I have a cabin on a lake in northern Wisconsin that’s been in the family for almost 50 years. I spend most of my free summer weekends on Lake Superior the Mississippi or occasionally Lake Michigan. I have no intention of selling the cabin.

Looks like a fun boat. I am on the St. Croix in Afton, what lake you on?

I live in Blaine, so in town we like to hit Coon Lake. The cabin is near Detroit lakes, so quite a haul!

It would be hard to part with the cabin. This will be the first year I take on everything solo, as my Dad can no longer make the trip. He's done so many projects around there over the years that it really is part of him.

Congratulations and welcome to CSR!
