Went out tonight, idle through the channel. Went to give it some gas to around 2000 rpm and both knock sensor alarms went off on the port engine. Motor sounds good?? last time I filled, I went to a station I don't normally and had a little less then 1/4 tank when this happened. Plugs, wires were done 3 years ago. Manifolds 3 years ago, I was thinking of filling up with 93, Add some startron and change the plugs. Any other things I should look for?

I like the filling up withe 93 and the startron, add a double dose of drygas/seafoam or a combination of the three.
When you do, make sure you have the time to take her on a good run and see if any thing changes.
After that if nothing has changed, then, pull the plugs and fuel filters. (pour the contents into a glass jar & let it settle)
With no 02 sensors, the knock sensors are the first to notice a possible lean condition due to extra hot cylinders causing pre-ignition.
Odd that it was only one engine after the part about taking on fuel, but may not be related.

Yea my plan was fill with 93, Startron and some stabil. I bought 2 new sets of plugs last night, but will wait to put them in. I put in Iridiums in 2-3 seasons ago, maybe 100 hrs. Getting 2 new filters and will do the glass thing. As most of you know, when the motors run like crap the velvet drives sound like they have marbles in them. I noticed with the hatch up the port motor when it had the alarm the trans had some noise once some throttle was given, but the starboard kinda scared me a little. It was making that crazy marble noise once I hit the throttle to like 3000 rpm. I'm just hoping it's bad gas.

You can always try to run that engine on fresh 93 gas from your portable tank that you use for feeding the winterization blend. That would quickly hit the new gas and eliminate or focus it on a gas problem.

Yea I need gas anyway. Gonna fill up with 93 and put all the crap in. Also going to remove my water separator and see what I got. Otherwise I don't know what would have caused it. I'll pull a couple plugs and take a look also. Make sure the connections are clean.
Would you happen to have the Rinda adapter 94006? My friend has the scan tool, but not the right adapter.

I should have it I would have to check at home to be 100% - I know have the Rhinda software and USB adapter for laptops along with connectors - I do not the scan tool.

Firstoff , Thanks Kevin. Filled up, added Startron and stabil. Went for a 10 min ride and all sounded good. No codes, and ran really smooth. I didn't get a chance to hear the trannys though. Here is my Data. I was right at 28.5 Mph, All looks good. I don't know...Bad gas?? Guess I'll never know.
