Nathan, I think part of making sure that doesn't happen is having a good conversation with a prospective buyer before you meet him.

If they first start the talk asking how much I'd sell it for, without even seeing I'd ask them point blank "How can you possibly know what the coach is worth without seeing it?" That pretty much identifies the tire kickers.

For sure. There's no way I would sell either of those under the conditions they were asking for. Both rigs were sold to local people that showed up to see what it was they were buying. Took their money, signed the titles, and everyone's happy.
