got a saturn inflatable with a blow up keel. can you do any damage to that keel if you carry it while inflated? or do you need to deflate the keel every time you have it on the swim platform?

I went a couple years carrying my Zodiak flat on the platform, motor mounted, no issues. I didn't store it that way when we left the boat but I took plenty of trips with it like that.

When I would secure my dink to the platform in this way I'd tie to the cleat/eye on the outside (aft) edge of the dink and pull it up a little. So it sits on an angle. The keel and the forward tube/edge would both contact the platform. It's a lot more stable this way.
