I meant Tommy….. is he still working? ….I was going to drive over in the next couple of weeks to see him at Crews inn

I am not a fan of bumpers….. I helped the owner right when he first opened after the renovation to get the Indy 500 on the TV’s during Memorial Day weekend…… not a thank-you…. a beer ….kiss my ass ….nothing. I never got over that

I don't know anyone around here so can't help. The owner of Tommy Boy was at Bumpers with wife and son. They left while I was there.

Tommy manages crews inn…. One of the nicest guys on the planet. Get to know him and the other regulars….you won’t go anywhere else

There is one time….my mom who can’t walk …is over weight and she wanted to visit me on the boat…. I was by myself and got her on the boat….we took a tour of St Clair and took her to Crews Inn for lunch…. The water height there was no way she was getting off…. Crews inn won’t serve on the boat …so I went in to talk to Tommy…. He said we got you ….waitress set the table in the cockpit and served us. It was very cool. Mom kept saying I feel like I am on a yacht …… you got to love moms

Yeah, we skipped going out last night because it was supposed to storm through the night and into today. I'm still on the fence about today. Tomorrow may be a good dinghy day though. That's my only hope...

Wow!!! It almost feels like summer has arrived up here!!! Fantastic.

Been working from the boat the last three weeks....heater going all night...rain, drizzle and fog a lot of days.

Today..sunshine, warmth...wow!!

And with this warmer weather, we’ll get to deal with 2-3 weeks of severe midge hatches!!

A couple of days ago there were swarms of, I guess, midges around Belle Maer. Fish flies aren't too far away. I assume they are terrible along Jefferson like they were 30 years ago. I can remember cars literally spinning out from the road being covered with them. There were gobs of dead ones floating on St Clair last summer.
