and winter storage. Just think of the money saved if you could fold up the swim platform.

I can honestly say that I have never seen that before!

Question... what's the ROI on slip fees saved vs fiberglass work done? :)

Well if ya slip at a Safe Harbor marina they'll just charge you by the length of the slip, not the boat :):)

Was that in a marina or a trailer park?

I pay the same for my 60' slip as I did when I had my 330 Sundancer in it. Doesn't matter the length of the boat--you're paying for the slip.

I'd hate to have to trust that hinge joint in a storm when the boat is yanking on the chain.

Okay, I have officially seen it all now. Thank you and good night.

I know of a party that did something similar to a swim platform in order to remain within the limits of their slip with a new boat. That particular marina has a long waiting list for a slip, so the choice was to keep a smaller boat, modify the new, larger boat and remain in the marina, or go elsewhere.

My dock neighbor cut the tip of his sail boat off to stay under the length limit. He had a stainless steel snub nose cap made.
Looks like shit!!

Saw that on Instagram and thought it was a joke.

Need a picture of the side where the household air-conditioner is sticking out
Actually saw a 42 Morgan tha had a household ac , the outer casing removed from it and installed in hos bilge he had customized ducting out over 4 inch PVC which was well placed and upon entering the boat you could not see evidence of the install, we sometimes laugh at the unconventional however it is those with unconventional thinking who are the innovators whose ideas we enjoy daily

Check out this innovator... I think that's an Ontario plate :)
