I need some positive vibs!

Wishing you a complete and speedy recovery.

Reaching out the members to send some prayers and positive vibes my way. Not only did I have to put the boat up for the season today, but I am off to Johns Hopkins Hospital for surgery Friday to remove a tumor in my pancreas. They caught it early so hoping for a full recovery and be ready for next season. Thanks for your time to respond.
I want to thank all in Club Sea Ray for reaching out. It means a great deal to me that this forum has so many caring souls. We are bonded by the love of boating. Tomorrow is the big day. They tell me that this surgery is curative and no further treatments will be needed. I have put it in the Lord's hands from here. I will let you all know how it goes. Again thanks for your prayers and support.
Will

If you can avoid the chemo treatments, go for it.

I went through 6 chemo infusions and, because they are cumulative, the after affects of each one get bigger and badder. Just knowing y'all got lots of buddies out here who have walked that same path who are keeping you in their thoughts and prayers.

UPDATE: Your thoughts and prayers worked. Surgery was a success. Kept a good percentage of my pancreas and they did not have to take my Spleen. Up and walking already. Thanks to all of you.

Up and walking! That's impressive. When I had my heart attack five years ago, they went in through the femoral artery near my groin and removed the clot and inserted a stent. I was walking two days later, and out of the hospital the next. I don't even have a scare to show for it. Sometimes it's good that we live in the times we do.
What kind of follow-up can you expect?

See, Will, prayers do work. Glad to hear the good news!
Here's a bit of cheer sent your way. We were having dinner before a Doobie Brothers concert at "Gus's New York Pizza" place where the playoff games were on and the Mexican music was blasting away.

First let me say Thank you for your service to all my fellow Veterans.
I really appreciate all the well wishes sent out. I was just released from the hospital after 25 days. I was one step forward to 2 steps back for awhile. Best part is that the surgeon was able to get all the tumor and no further treatment is needed. Just need to get my strength back. Take each day a blessing. So looking forward to next boating season.
