I need winterize help

PS. Fresh water systems all done. Called boat/us about freeze coverage they said I don’t have it and had to get by 10/31. no I didn’t read the whole 39 page legalize policy. My bad.

Instead of draining the hoses and block you can always use a winterization kit to fill the hoses and block with pink antifreeze ( https://www.westmarine.com/buy/camco--inboard-outboard-winterizing-kit--4754859?recordNum=17 ). The empty container is not heavy and can be placed on your swim platform. The 1 gallon jugs of pink antifreeze are about 8 pounds and can be lifted to the swim platform individually. I winterized my last two boats using this type of kit for 22 years and never had a problem with freezing. Just make sure you buy the good pink antifreeze that contains propylene glycol. Do not buy the cheap Wally World pink antifreeze that contains alcohol. It makes a difference.

Great news. My mechanic just called me, he winterized the boat this week! Been so busy he just now letting folks their boats are done. Oh, and I need manifolds and risers, but I suspected that. Made my day! Thx for all offered help and advice!

Update. My mechanic (see previous post) was going to do Bravo work and manifolds and risers for ridiculous cheap has come down with diabetes issues. Launch is 9 weeks away and now my sh!t is flapping in the breeze. Don’t know wether call someone else or wait. Anybody use Old Line Marine out of Pasadena?
