Not cheap is right but I think you might be off the mark a bit. My dock neighbor just had his Cabo 43FB painted from rubrail up - over $100K at American Yachts in Stuart Fl. They did, however remove all of the hardware from the boat and remove the old gelcoat. Paint was Awlgrip. Cabo went through a major issue with gelcoat checking on the boats of his vintage (early/mid 2000's).I'll definitely keep them in mind... Thank you.
I know it's not going to be cheap, I'm hoping to spend $20,000-$30,000 at most. $35,000-$40,000 or more will put me over budget with our other plans we have in store.
I'm going to meet with Kevin(?) at Ship Shape Marine and see what he has to say. Brands is not painting at this moment from what I understand.
There's mention that the bridge could be sanded s/lighty and buffed out to where all we'd have to focus on is the deck & gunwales.

I agree 100%.My own personal opinion. I would leave all the hardware on the boat tape it and paint. Looking for trouble when removing hardware and reinstalling it. If there are no leaks let the hardware alone.
Are you interested? From the rub rail up, deck & gunwales only. The hull, cockpit & flybridge are fine.I have painted and repaired boats with good success. The paint I really liked was Sunfire made by Sherwin Wiliams. It was an acrylic polyurethane paint Problem is they don't make it anymore.
