I know it can get carried away, but is there any chance you could bump up the file size allowed to be uploaded for the gallery and picture attachments? So often they need to be so compressed that they loose a lot of definition.

I suggest you post pictures thru Photobucket.com which is free. You size your pictures the way you want when you upload from your computer to photobucket. They have an option to size them for a message board and this provides just the right size and resolution. This is an example of the size and resolution you get.

I'm going to try the instructions, start post, if using Firefox browser open photobucket in another tab(right click the bookmark, left click open in another tab), click on the photo you want, look to the right and you will see four lines labeled, Share URL,Direct Link,HTML Code,IMG Code, left click in the space just below IMG Code, right click, left click copy, come back to your post, hit enter once or twice(I do twice to give a space between post and pic or between pics), right click, left click paste, you will see the link in your post, if you preview you will see the photo in place of the link, that should work for you. Hope this helps.
