Lake Saint Clair Peeps

From what I heard at the member services at MacRay the other day as it stands right now they only had one open slip left to rent..who know if everybody's returning next season
We talked to them at the boat show and went there Sunday. We put a refundable $500.00 deposit down and now wait until Dec. to see what comes available. The members that have not renewed by Dec. 1st will get a call and if they decide not to renew or don't return the call they will then call current members that are on a list for a different well to see if they want the one that opened. Once that happens then they start calling the waiting list and let them know what well opened and if they want it. They said on average 30 to 40 wells will change hands, but that does not mean that it will be a well that will fit my boat. We are having second thoughts now. My marina is no where close to being as nice as MacRay, but we have a great bunch of neighbors and have became very good friends that we are not sure we want to leave behind. Not to mention that MacRay is going to be at least $5000(summer) and I'm only at $2300(summer) right now. We have pretty much the same amenities except for the restaurant just not as nice. We are rarely at the marina anyways.

Hey Joe, Good seeing you yesterday. I attached the pic of your boat I took.
Yes you should check out Mac Ray for next year. Great marina and in a great location of the lake.
Greg
Thanks for the pic Greg. You looked relaxed kicked back in that chair on the dock. :D We may still come there next year, but are having second thoughts now. Read post above.

Just found out Colony Marine picked up the Prestige line to fill the Sea Ray void. Should be interesting to see how that goes.
Was wondering what Colony was going to do. Interesting. I wonder if there is another lake out there that has more SeaRay on it than Lake St. Clair does.

There’s usually a few that turn over. I’m pretty certain the well right next to me will be open. It’s a 40’er and it’s back on amber where there’s a lot of space behind you so you can hang over. Current members get first dibs on open wells. I think they have until second week of January to decide then it opens to public
She did say one on amber was left..I'm just trying to get a toy dock (which are all taken as well right now)so I can get rid of my dinghy on the swimplatform..hate having it sit in the way

It's getting to that sad time of the year. Who's still in the water? My haul out date is 10/29.
Hey Joe, we are still in but we come out Monday Oct 15th. Plan on taking the boat from BBM (Bouvier Bridge Marina) over to Algonac Harbor Club this Saturday. They will pull it Monday morning. Greg and his crew at AHC really take good care of me and our boat.

Brent- I agree that Greg and his crew at Algonac Harbor Club do an excellent job. I get hauled next Wednesday so I will be pretty close to you.

Hello everyone! My name is Kerry. Just wanted to introduce myself as I’m new here. Just purchased a 1995 250 Sundancer that will be slipped at Beacon Cove. This will be my fiancé and I’s first time living the marina life. We upgraded from a 21’ Sea Ray Seville Cuddy Cabin that we just trailered. Very excited to meet new people and explore the lake!

Welcome Kerry! So many good guys on here with good info about LSC.
Thank you! I’ve been reading through this thread and a few others and really learning a ton. You can tell it’s a great group of people which makes me even more excited for next season. We definitely have a lot to learn and are looking forward to the adventures!

Congratulations and Welcome... Don't get the wrong idea we are just internet forum buddies... Don't try to organize a rendezvous or anything like that ...everyone just scatters :)

Thank you!

Hahaha!! Of course! Everything sounds great online but the reality is scary. Maybe a rendezvous is too much of a commitment.

Hahaha! Well thanks! It's a good time of year to work on commitment issues and get them resolved before spring hits.
Welcome to CSR and congrats on your boat. Blue One is right, it is hard to get a rendezvous planned. I am guilty of having a hard time committing, mainly due to work and the urge to go out and have a good time on the lake.
We are up in Anchor Bay, at Bouvier Bridge Marina. Anchor Bay is a great area, many swim holes and places to grab a bite to eat and a beer.

Thank you Brent! I definitely get it, work always gets in the way for me as well. Doesn't do much good to have a boat without a job I suppose.
I have heard a lot of great things about Anchor Bay, definitely one of the places we want to hit. Swim holes and beer is exactly what Kylie looks for in a place to go, not too hard to please lucky for me. We will definitely head up there. Thanks for the tip!
