Hey Rich I meant to ask if the marina was building the in ground pool right across from your parking spot like you put in for! Progress looks like it's coming along nicely!

Well finally splashed today but what a debacle..the tractor that runs the hydraulic trailer broke down bringing me to hoist so hoist had to come and get me and boat from parking lot..Hoist runs me to drop me in and I can not get the motors to prime to keep waterpumps pressured.. really bad design on my 330 that needs to be addressed..the sea strainers are set really high that makes it so hard to pull water and get it pressurized..need to walk the boat from drop in all the way over to boathouses and dragged my haul across some random bolt hanging off the seawall and put huge gouge in fiberglass.. finally found a spigot in a boat house that I could hook a hose to so I could push pressured water into the strainer to get things moving and pressured..this is a huge deal that I need to address when this weather breaks..Sorry for the rant fellas but damn what a bad start!

Tractor smacked my boat into the boat behind me, squatter in my slip, NO water, NO bathrooms and it was raining.... Don't talk to me about debacles :) ..... If any consolation it only gets better from here

.Any damage to you? I hope this is the only glitch I have and not the beginnings of a rough year!

This is such a bummer gasket and I feel like I just read my life story...lol. Like blue said, it can only get better from here. At least it’s a good story while drinking a few beers

That's a tough aggravating day right there. Let's hope that you got all your bad luck out on the first day and the rest of the summer is trouble free and smooth sailing. Good Luck Gasket. I'll see ya soon. C'mon 26th.

I hate launching. It should be a happy day, but my hands start shaking soon after my alarm wakes me up on launch day and they don't stop until I shutdown the engines in my well. The first season I launched this boat, the yard crew hit her with the boat sitting next to her. To this day there's a picnic table on the property somewhere with a gouge in the seat made by a collision with my port rudder. Last year there were whitecaps in the fairway during my approach. The year before the fog was so thick that we couldn't see the hoist from the parking lot.

It may not help on a 330, but my SOP for launching is to have the hoist operator hold me bow-high in the water while I open the strainer lids to bleed the air. About 50% of the time they're already full, but when they're not, bleeding the air fills them in a second.

I installed woven on I think seven boats last year three of them Teak with black none of them have complained it got to hot for them during the summer. My wife doesn’t really care for the weaves so we did Berber so I personally have no experience other than installing it.

This year was the first year that I wasnt wound tight normally pretty nervous..just kinda told myself to expect some kinda small problem..wow did I way screw that that thought up..I'm curious about keeping bow high does that allow that back to really squat lower allowing you to pull water easier? Somebody said you need 5 or 6 guys my size to stand on the swim platform to get low..lol

I was there last Saturday helping move my buddy's Excalibur in and went back there Sunday with some friends and had lunch, but mine won't be there till the 26th. We plan on probably staying on it Friday night and going to orientation Saturday morning the 27th. We'll probably be there all day the 27th cleaning and cutting down on fuel mileage (loading it):D:D.
