Man....amazing seeing pics you post of places we've been to.
We've done that evening cruise on the boat there with the palm trees on it.
And we've been to that end of Lido Key there on a rental boat...love that whole area there, esp the other side of the pass, south side, the sand bars out there.

Great pics! Makes me crave going back! (April!)
Looking to purchase our first started place down near there by end of this year.

I've got some condos up on the NE corner of Sarasota Bay near Bowlee's Creek. Well protected, docks on property. PM me if you want to see what's available when you come down. Kinda like living in Islamorada without the long drive....
And, I would also rather be in Staniel. Ran the entire Exumas many times in the 90's before it go overrun with Nassau day trips. Not enough pigs or Iguanas to go around anymore....

Was foggy this morning. I picked up our boat at the yard in tarpon springs and brought it back to Clearwater. By 10, ICW had cleared but looked like a lot of fog still in the gulf.

Great pictures. Never tire of seeing them.

Great pics! We went out last weekend as well for the first time in Sarasota bay and, in our new to us 460 Sundancer. Surprised how shallow it was in the bay but throughly enjoyable ! Really need to pay attention to the charts and perhaps follow others out for a few times.

Yes, charts a must here in Sarasota, and even then the bottom changes around the inlets. Big Pass sandbar is 1/4 the size it was this summer...

WOW those are fantastic pictures thanks for sharing!

When we first started spending time on the west coast - I got a lot of warnings about the inlets around Sarasota.

I don't use either of the Sarasota inlets or Longboat pass.

South its Venice, north is Tampa Bay.
