Life in the "Cone Zone"

Well first one of the year... looks to be a nothing burger but have to get ready anyway. Headed down to the marina latter to tighten up and add some lines. Then need to go home and cut down some coconuts.

Yup. For the last four years this is the standard path for east coast hurricanes. No where to take a boat. ICW runs N/S along the coast and the hurricanes run N/S along the coast. Just gotta find the best hurricane hole you can. Interestingly, one factor in moving to Beaufort, SC was "we don't ever get hurricanes". So much for that.
