A friend of mine from MA has a boat under agreement in New York. The sale is pending a survey. He doesn't know anyone out there. I told him I would post here. Does anyone have the information of a reputable surveyor they may have dealt with in the past? Much appreciated in advance.

I too like Frank Abbey. But, if it is a Marinemax boat, they won’t let Frank on the property. Unless they have loosened up on him over the past 10 years.

Frank did mine and it was a purchase from MarineMax. It was up in Huntington but sold through lindenhurst.

I think Greg Michaels is good and he knows Sea Rays well too. I’ve used Kevin McGoldrick and was very happy with him too. He knows his way around a boat. Kevin’s number is (631) 649- 5833.

Also, I’m about 35-40 minutes from Lindenhurst and if your friend hasn’t seen the boat yet with his own eyes, I’m happy to go take a look for him and take a bunch of pickturs too. That way he can make sure it’s something he wants to survey.
