Has anyone worked with Greg Michaels of Pinnacle Marine group?

He just did a survey on a boat last week that I now have a chance to buy because the deal fell through.

Boat is in Lindenhurst, NY.

Don't know about the surveyor but I live 5 minutes from lindenhurst if u want somebody to go take a look at anything specific before you make the trip to come look.

any thoughts on who I should have do the engine survey? Have seen both WESCO and Atlantic Service.

Greg used Glen Shadbolt Marine Services for the engines. Again, not one thing was overlooked. Feel free to PM me and i can get you any further info you may need.

Wish I would have had this information before I bought my last boat from Long Island. My surveyor even missed the burnt out navigational lights!

Have seen that ad, looks very nice but were already just above our personal "max budget" that we set before deciding to move our search from 40's up to the 44's, which in itself is already over the "max" we set before starting to look at new boats.

Just wanted to update the thread. I used Greg Michaels for the survey and Bill Stevens from Wesco for the engines and generator. Was extremely happy with both, hopefully in a week or two we can close the deal!

+1 for using Greg! As i said im sure you were happy with him. He really does check everything and leaves no surprises for you later on. Also his final survey he emails you at the end is amazing how everything is broken down and what steps are needed to be taken. Best of luck with your new boat!
