Anyone have any leads or suggestions on where to find a used Ray210VHF? Or is there an upgrade to fit in the existing opening? Thanks

Try eBay, I've seen them show up on there before

The 210 isn't DSC compliant, so hopefully the best place to find them is in a recycle bin!

If you're willing to invest a small amount of money for a large amount of safety, I'd be happy to search for modern radios that will best fit your dash.

Totally hear you. Happy to spend the money as long as I can get a unit to fit the opening or make it larger. Have to research "DSC compliant" I am embarrassed to say...

...and 67 CSR members just groaned and said, "he had to get Roller onto his soapbox, really?" lol

No need to be embarrassed. Awareness of DSC is very low. It's a simple feature though.

I've already looked at the 210 manual, but I can only find the width of the faceplate, not the height nor the cutout for some reason. If you can get me those measurements, I'll start looking for the best fit. I think I've already recommended a Simrad to a neighbor that fit the hole for a 210, but I'll double check.

Here's a DSC thread: http://clubsearay.com/index.php?threads/do-you-have-dsc-gps-mmsi-configured.88340/

If the Ray210 is the same dimensions as the Ray215 we have adapter plates available for many newer and popular models. The filler plate covers the Ray215 opening and you mount the new unit in the pre-cut hole.

Here is an example of a Uniden/WestMarine Model installed:

Let me know if we can help or if you have any questions.
