HERE IS AN INTERESTING THOUGHT THAT had not crossed my mind, until I read this, but now that it's mentioned in this message, I guess my curiosity has been peaked.

HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN (A) ANY OF THE 6000-7,000 AMERICANS THAT WERE RESCUED FROM AFGHANISTAN, (B) OR ANY OF THEM REUNITING WITH FAMILY OR BEING INTERVIEWED?

WE ARE TOLD BY THE POWERS THAT BE THAT APPROXIMATELY 6,000 TO 7,000
AMERICAN CITIZENS WERE RESCUED BY DARING EFFORTS OF THE U.S. STATE
DEPARTMENT AND U.S. MILITARY IN EVACUATIONS FROM KABUL AIRPORT.
.
IT SEEMS A LITTLE ODD NOW THAT THERE ARE NO VIDEOS OF THE
SURVIVORS OF THE AFGHAN CRISIS ARRIVING AT AIRPORTS.

NO CROWDS OR FAMILIES GREETING THE EXTRACTED AMERICAN RESIDENTS;

COVERAGE OF RELIEVED AMERICANS, HUSBANDS, WIVES, DAUGHTERS OR SONS ARRIVING BACK IN THEIR HOMETOWN....NOTHING.

SIX TO SEVEN THOUSAND AMERICANS SAVED FROM THE CLUTCHES OF THE TALIBAN, AND NOT A SINGLE STORY OF THOSE AMERICANS ARRIVING HOME TO THE WAITING ARMS OF THEIR LOVING FAMILY ??????

ANY OF THIS SOUND STRANGE TO YOU?

Our church is sponsoring and providing clothing, etc for some Afghan refugees that are settling in our area. I won't begin to guess as to why the media covers or doesn't cover different stories.

EDIT: Actually if you search there are different stories about the Afghans being resettled. Here is one from the Chicago Tribune discussing efforts in our area. https://www.chicagotribune.com/peop...0210831-o3toqm2hlfbolerriuiqgxcbau-story.html

Possibly that, in retrospect, it was an embarrassment, and we're looking for other things for us to focus on?
yep, down the memory hole it will all go.

I have heard many of stories from friends in New Mexico about the planes coming in direct from The Sand Box to Holloman AFB. And the city that has been constructed there. But nothing about the US citizens.

Funny how lately when we get a story that doesn't align with MSM there is suddenly 'another' big story that comes out so the first is forgotten about. Been happening alot this year.

Our church has been asked to adopt some of them and help them become established. I have not followed that project but you raise an interesting question.

No stories in the non MSM either though. It does show you that news is entertainment, and the entertainment value I guess was determined to be low. We had the same thing in Canada when we pulled our main troops out back in 2014 (and then realized we had a lot still there right up until the US pulled out). Lots of media about the decision to pull out, but very little about the soldiers returning as they came back. Not sure why.

Why the hell do they need to be adopted by a church. If they are American citizens would they not just come back home to their American home town? I would have left anyone that was there on their own accord that was not part of the SU mission to fucking rot. They were there for a reason, if they love that shit hole so much they should stay there and die trying to make it a better place to live. Sorry I feel the same way about any of the refugees coming here for freebees. They owe it to the world and their countrymen to fight the oppression. Our fore fathers did just that 300 years ago and it turned out fairly well for a while anyway.
Any other time or if were Trump were in office and the Alphabet Network Bobble Heads wanted to make look him bad, Every morning Network show would have had wall to wall interviews with any one of them they could find.

I've seen more news stories (albiet very few) about Afghans being resettled here than American's rescued and brought home. While it makes you wonder if anyone really came back, it is likely just the MSM doesn't want to cover it...

Perhaps I misspoke. Those looking for assistance from churches are Afghans who helped American troops and who faced execution had they not escaped with the Americans during the hasty departure. Sort of like the Vietnamese boat people who fled the Communists at the conclusion of that war.

Admittedly that does complicate the argument a bit. They are Afghans that were helping the US troops who were there helping the Afghans purge the country of the Taliban. Some think we were only there to kill Bin Laden and contain or limit the effectiveness of ISIS or Al Queda. It turned in to a nation building exercise in futility which is why we ended up leaving. It is honestly debatable whether the US owed the Afghan translators a new life in the US unless it was part of the original employment contract. In either case I pray those that did get relocated, integrate into the fabric of America and find the American dream and don't just end up suckling at the tax payer's tit in perpetuity.

Yes! Where are all the Americans?
How is it that not even Fox parades them one after another on tv?

Makes you wonder.

Different people and different culture, but many of the Vietnamese who ended up in the US, integrated well. We hired some who worked as health care workers and who were outstanding employees. They learned the language quickly and were not afraid of long hours and accountability. Perhaps the Afghans will be the same. We use a limo service in San Francisco owned by an Afghan who used to fly 707s for the country's national airline. Another success story, although he has a driver who is a relative and who seems to harbor resentment toward Americans. For the the most part his employees are very good.

Wake up. Most of them are American haters. And all of them are Christian haters. They believe the Koran to tell them to kill the nonbelievers. Let them in. Give them everything we dont get for free. In a year they will all be liberal voters and the next thing you know, aloha snackbar, boom.

As for the American citizens that were in the country? Was there really that many there? Just living there? Not part of the military or a contractor? Just like the true number of covid caused deaths in this country, I dont trust their counters. They like to skew the truth
