I was surprised last weekend that our marina was selling gas for only $3.90 a gallon when it was $3.79 on land. Needless to say I topped off the tank in anticipation of it going higher before my next trip. Who ever thought we would be saying "Only $3.90 a gallon" as a good thing??

$3.99 here over the weekend ($4.23 street) Yesterday Marina bumped up to 4.23 as well.

Prices are down a bit from $4.20 for gas ($4.17). Diesel at $4.66 is cheaper at the marina than at some gas stations where it is $4.89. First time I've seen marina fuel cheaper than street fuel. Speedway seems to be the highest priced fuel on land. Odd thing is, all of this stuff comes from the same fuel storage facility in West Michigan and arrives there from the Woverine Pipeline that originates in the South. I know that commodity costs drive a lot of the pricing but some companies are consistently more at the pump. Citgo is almost always the cheapest, but people are boycotting Hugo Chavez and one the local Citgo stations closed it doors due to lack of business.

Our lake with one marina was around $4.60 something this weekend.

The marina that I work at has lowered the costs tremendously. They're also giving gas discounts out to groups of 6 or more boats who plan over night trips. He's trying to keep boating affordable and not gouge our customers with the high gas prices. So some of our customers are paying less to fill up their boats than to fill up their cars!

I paid $4.69 at our marina in the Sacramento River Delta area. It's all over the place around here but no one is below 4 bucks.

Some guys are racing around trying save a dime here and 15 cents there. Where will it end?

For us, we just aren't, "....going out for a ride" like we used to in past years. We will do an overnight destination ocasionally and stay close to the marina the rest of the time.

Over $5 in Marina Del Rey, CA. Close to $5.40 on Catalina...

Same.

Our military marina doesn't get good deals, but the gas lasts a while, so, 3 weeks ago it was 3.66. Once they got a new shipment, it went to 4.31 (2 weeks ago). I'm staying full while the prices are going up.

yes, no more willy nilly trips for us. I'm so glad we moved from the hudson to the sound. On the Hudson it would take 3 hours to go "someplace". on the sound we have a lot of places to go within a 1 hour range. So while gas is more $$, we hope to burn a lot less of it and still enjoy great weekends.

Got gas today at our club just outside of Boston for $3.99 cash ($4.15 credit) for 89 octane. Not bad....the street price is $4.10 for 89.

4.69 on the south shore of long island in lindenhurst
I paid 4.58 at the Anchorage in Lindenhurst this past Sunday. I know SS3 across the way was higher.

I think I'm paying the most for gas in NY. $4.99. This sucks.

I topped off at $3.99/gallon this weekend. My marina uses the old-style pumps with the roller numbers. Their pumps won't go any higher than $3.99 (old school). Who said technology is a good thing?
