My masthead light has gone to the graveyard of broken boat parts and I have a new one. Does anyone know the nav/anchor wiring colors for the masthead light? The labels have worn off. I know black goes to ground but which powers the nav and which powers the anchor from the cockpit switches?
thx

I just went through this a couple months ago. In my set up there was also a blue and a grey wire. I do not remember which is which, but if you turn on your nav lights only, you should have the front light only come on. If you turn on the anchor lights, you should have both (360 deg) on. I just held it in my hand and connected the wires temporarily to verify.

Then use a quality shrink wrap crimp and you'll be good for a while.

I changed mine on my 280DA and had the admiral at the helm to confirm I was setting it up correctly. Don’t forget to add some sealant to your screw threads.
