My boat came from the prior owner with an 8" foam mattress that had a lot of miles on it. It was quite soft, too soft. After two years the admiral insisted I replace it.

I am in no way affiliated with these guys. But they shipped my mattress within a day of my order, arrived horribly packaged but in perfect shape. Sub $200 for a firm king size mattress, delivered. Very satisfied with the transaction and the product.

I also invested in this fine piece of equipment:

Sub $20 and it cut the foam like magic. Worked very well.

So there is my $200 +/- mattress project. I thought I'd share since I have seen reference to what real mattresses cost for our boats. No way was I spending multiple boat bucks on such a thing. Though I'm sure they sleep nicely...
