I got my license in June, and on it the expiration date is this coming June (makes sense), but i keep getting emails from DNR saying it is about to expire and i need to renew. Anybody know how this really works?

Mine is 2/8/20-21. And I got that letter as well, just assumed that I was close since it's this month. I think they just mail these out at the end of the year for everyone regardless of the expiration date.
