Let me start by asking please keep negative comments to yourself about the amount of boats, people, etc...

This was by far the most enjoyable, tame, comfortable time on the water with so many people! Southern kindness plus there is no alcohol allowed and was patrolled heavily. Not that every cup didnt have alcohol in it, it kept the craziness down and was more family oriented. Didnt move for 4 days.

Prior weekend was the St. Pete sandbar party where it was stress from time we pulled up and about watched 3 guys get run over and hit by the prop...amateurs...until we had enough and left...

So enjoyable we are going back this weekend...

Alcohol-free raft-off's??? Never heard of such a thing! How is that even enforced, is that a private lake?

Cool vid. Thanks for sharing.

Stee..

It is in the Ocala National Forest. Guess they have rights once you enter the channel in from Lake George.

Basically just made everyone drink responsibly discreetly and no littered beer cans!

Over the 3 full days, I saw one drink guy about fall off boat that caught attention of LEO and they just asked them to leave and one other in the "channel" asked to move and has a beer in a clear cup..asked to leave. Was great unless you like the drunken debauchery.

Cool video. I caught a few large boats sitting in very skinny water! Looks like a good time. Id say this is rare, and you St. Pete experience is about what I expect with large rafts and hot spot gatherings. Always drama and difficult to relax! Thanks for sharing.
