Does anyone know how to replace the backlighting on this unit? It is a 2004 SC5000. Thanks in advance. :smt001

If you have tried the adjustment slider bar and that does not work, the only thing I can suggest is to contact Mercruiser tech support. I find calling them works best. There is a fellow there, Andrew, who is the resident Smartcraft wiz.
I also seem to recall they offer an expedited repair service. These are out of production, so you might also want to look on eBay. I bought a New Old Stock SC5000 a couple years ago for abt $ 500. Might be cheaper to buy a replacement.
