While at the boat in Longboat we had the pleasure of meeting Mark and Debra (Footballfan)
As they where transients for a few days they had company on day 2 Carter and Susan (Carterchapman) strolled in for a visit. It’s been a while since we’ve met such nice people we all had a nice time and a few cocktails. We would love to do a trip with these guys some day
Over the years we’ve met some great folks from CSR and some are close friends after 10 or so years later some are like Bigfoot sightings ie: Capt Rusty / Frank Webster they’re just celebrity status so just wanted to say thank you to Mark and Debra for their hospitality and hope to meet more members as we spend more time in FLA.

Over the years this has been one of the biggest benefits we have received from CSR, meeting new friends. It adds so much to cruising when you are visiting with friends along the way or traveling together.

We look forward to a cruise together soon.

How was St. Pete and the races?
 
Mark we cancelled st Pete the wind was blowing from the east so the marina would not have been fun stayed south captiva, Boca grande, then marina jacks to bring friends to the Westin rooftop bar.
 
Just to show you how boating friends are one of my newly acquainted FLA CSR friends messaged me to ask if I needed him to go check our boat while we’re in NY due to the upcoming storm approaching
I believe it’s a 1-1/2 hour trip for him. Ain’t that something? ( said like Capt Rusty)
