Be aware they have new rates

Holiday weekends - 7.25 per foot
Weekends - 6.30 per foot
Weekdays - 5.75 per foot

Minimum 40 feet

Plus $ 35 per day Utility and $ 15 per day resort fee.

NO, but their dock lines are woven from the finest strands of Italian, 22kt gold, then hand polished by their dock attendants who, by the way, get paid minimum wage to toil in the hot sun.

The new rates amount to $485 for my boat. That's almost TWICE what I pay for a month's moorage in a covered 20 x 60 slip in a new marina.

Bustards are ripping people off.

Yikes. I've been to Montauk back in 2013 with our boat...nice place but frankly think something like Roche Harbor is just as nice if not nicer and at $1.85/ft + $10 for 50 Amp power, a much better deal. Some marinas sure do fetch a premium to stay there...Montauk isn't the only one.

That's crazy! 40 foot minimum and $35 for power per day. We have resprocity with our YC and the first day anywhere is free ($6 per day for power) and a $1.00 a foot every day thereafter.

Thanks for the heads up, we're headed there next week. Whats funny about MYC is that they set the minimum @ 40' and that is a toy boat in comparison to what they tie to the docks.

BTW - make sure to review the line items on the bill....A few years back, they tried passing a $75 or $150 (I forget the amount) pool side towel fee on us. It was a mistake and was taken care of....just a word of caution.

We got hit with that towel fee too... It was a nice place, but not nice enough to justify those costs...

We usually go twice per season. Not that this is the most expensive part of boating but it makes you wonder where else you can go for less. My Kids love the pools, activities, and shuttle to anywhere. These costs went up 25% from last year....

I dont think the place warrants these kinds of fees. Ok so it has a pool? I have one in the yard,
You could anchor out and dinghy in for free take mass transit to town go to dinner have dessert and money left over for what they charge per night its ridiculous.

It might be $$$.... But it's worth it... No where else like it around here... When your there.. Your in a happy place...

And for what it's worth..it's cheaper than a weekend in Seaview in Fireisland..

Thats pretty funny, I stayed a weekend (last week) at Seaview marina.

Seaview is great too...
That is my new happy place... Just found it this season... Quiet family town just a stone throw away from all the chaos..
Good times..

Going back last weekend in August!

Don't forget, they give you free ice :)

At least one marina in Newport is now asking ( and apparently getting) $8 per foot per night and Nantucket is right up there at as much as $8.50 per foot in peak times. There are alternatives to all, so vote with your wallet.

I was just there two weeks ago and that's the rate. Sea Gull (L650F) pulled in a few slips down, and he's correct about Newport, that was my next stop after MYC, Both Newport Harbor M&H and Newport Marina were $5/75/ft + Elec.

MYC may be worth it for the resort, but not the marina's in Newport.

BUT we all know marina slip fees are calculated in "boating dollars" and the exchange rate is not to our advantage!

Myc is absolutly gorgeous. By far the best marina I've ever been to. But as stated by Havana it's a marina. Not a resort. They have pools and bars so what. The prices they are asking ate rediculouse. Drop the hook and dingy in and get the same experience as you would paying hundreds a night. .

As I sit under a Cabana by the pool having my breakfast (delivered by a lovely pool girl) at MYC, I cant think of a better place to be in the Northeast. My kids love this place, my wife loves this place and that makes it easy for me to love this place. Yes, it's a little costly but what about boating isn't? There may be less expensive alternatives but I haven't found any comparable to MYC. I also agree with the comments on Seaview, great quiet little marina, steps away from all the wild nightlife of FI in either direction. Little bit of a challenge getting into the marina though. I paid almost as much at Champlin's on Block last week without the Yacht Club feel, but that's not what I (or I bet most others) go to Block Island for. As others have said, lots of choices, you just have to find what's right for you. For my money, it's MYC....Paul, when do you arrive? We'll be in slip 644 till at least Thursday.
