My Searay logo fell off

Fortunately it floated. I cleaned up the hull where it was mounted and went to the hardware store and bought some 5 minute epoxy, the dual tube mix. But I had a "not so fast" moment before I applied it. Is there something better or more appropriate for this job? The Searay is a 1996 model. No telling what they used back then but it was thick and rubbery.

Go to an auto parts store and get the double stick tape used to secure automotive trim. Clean the surfaces with alcohol prior to application. I had to do this for the logo on my 1989 Sundancer. Sold the boat a few years later with the logo still firmly attached.

I used clear silicone 3 years ago ant logo is still on.

When you buy new OEM emblems they come with 2 sided tape. Use the auto emblem tape as suggested.
