Need recommendations for a shop in the Charlotte area to recover our vinyl seat cushions in the cockpit. The local Sea Ray dealership provided a referral to someone who quoted $4,500. I've gotten quotes half that much in the Lake Hartwell area of SC but that's a long way away. Does anyone have a recommendation for the Charlotte area?

Cathy's Cushions in Troutman recovered the seat of my Waverunner at a reasonable price.

Are you talking about a few captain's chairs or a full interior cockpit re-do? A full interior is 40 plus hours of labor plus materials. Would be curious to know the extent of the job and what others quote.

Shop for quotes....I wanted covers made for all of my flybridge upholstery. I got 3 quotes all for the same material...$1700, $1000, and $650. Chose the guy for $650 and could not be more pleased. He has now become a regular on our dock. Chose him based on the way he talked to me and handled his quote. Great guy....

Second on Cathy's cushions. I've had them do work for me in the past. Good and reasonable.

Thank you for the suggestions. It's a full exterior cockpit redo, but on our 240 Sundancer that's just a captain's chair, portside lounger, and rear bench. Not quite as huge a job as on other larger Sundancers.
