I just took delivery of a 320 on Lake Lanier. As a first time boat owner I am looking for a quick tutorial . Can someone recommend a captain I can pay for an overview?

I second Bennett!!

On a more serious note, what overview are you looking for? Boat systems, how to drive/dock, or lay of the lake around Lake Lanier?? Also where are you docked?

Yep, Bennet will hook you up. I am at Holiday if you want some help with your boat, lots of 320's out there, yours have a black hull and came from "R" dock? If so, I know the boat well. Dan

When we bought our used 310DA, the dealership provided a half-day instruction with Jeff Perfater. I recommend him highly. See: http://www.safenav.org

Dark Blue. I am primarily looking for navigation and docking instructions. I am at Bald Ridge.

To get you started...download the Navionics Boating app. The map gives depth info to the foot so you know where to avoid shallow water. It free or inexpensive...certainly cheaper then insurance deductable:)

As a rule of thumb stay 50 yards away from shore, avoid areas marked with a white marker, it marks shallow water, and never go between a white marker and shore. The Navionics app will show you the areas to avoid.

Kudos for reaching out. That 320 will seem like a lot of boat to a first timer, but will shrink significantly with training and experience.
