1975 Sea Ray Model TBD

90 horse outboard
Howdy - My family and I have just upgraded to a new (to us) Sea Ray. I'm pretty sure she's a 1975, but outside of that I dont know much about her. I'm hoping to learn more and fix her up a little and get many happy hours out on the lakes and rivers here in Maine.

I know she is older and information and parts are likely scarce or non-existent and that a lot of Yankee Ingenuity will be required to keep her afloat, but I'm willing to bet that if there are tips and tricks and resources out there, y'all will know where to find them.

Can you guys help me with the most basic of questions? Specifically what model boat do I now own?
Hull number: SERM99880475-I800BI03-5

From what I can glean from past posts it was made in the Michigan plant in 75. Outside of that, I'm not sure what I have.

I appreciate any input and look forward to learning more. Thanks for reading.

Sambone, I can't help you with the HIN but I can welcome you to ClubSeaRay. That's a good lookin' boat and I'm sure your family is going to have a lot of fun with her.

You came to the right place to find out info on your boat and get answers to your repair and maintenance questions.

Oh, and how about completing the signature page. We all like to know where each other lives and boats.

Welcome aboard.

I had the IO version ( see my signature). Great boat. Regret selling it every day. I had the 120hp mercruiser. Sipped gas.
Great boat. Just purchased a 1981 195. Yours is the 180. 18 gallon tank. Great hull.

Enjoy!

Mariner was made by Yamaha for Mercruiser. Although Mariner brand was killed off in late 90s. The parts are exactly the same as a Yamaha of that age. Hope that helps.
I had a Mariner outboard. It was bulletproof. Some prick stole it out of my shed. That motor went underwater more times than I could count. Pull plugs, change oil, cycle a couple times to pump out water, good to go.
