New (used) Sea Ray owner in OH

Hey everyone,

I'm completing the purchase process on a 1996 250 Sundancer.

I've owned about 4 cuddys/runabouts over the last 20 years, this is my 1st cruiser. (I'll add a photo to my profile later).

Looking forward to some quality times entertaining, or just cruzin' with the wife & dogs!

Looks like there's a lot of knowledge on this site, it will come in handy as I learn how to maintain our 'home on the water'.

Welcome, Good luck. I have the 98 250 DA. 5.7 Bravo-3 Watch the Risers and the impeller / pump. Hydro-locks are a B*tch.

We're still waiting for the check from our "D-I-Y" lending institution (if you want anything followed up, you have to do it yourself).

@JohnG: thanks for the heads-up, that's actually what happened to my last boat- a large stern wave in the middle of 3-footers on Lake Erie, Nbr #4 cylinder trashed, but that's another story :-(

I'll post some pics of the new toy, once it's safely ensconced in our driveway!
