Engines
454 Crusaders
I've never owned a boat big enough to spend the night on but I thought we'd give it a shot with an older 360 Aft Cabin.
We bought it last September in Traverse City, MI and brought it home to St. Joseph Island, Ontario in the mouth of the St. Mary's River and western gateway to the North Channel of Lake Huron.

We can't wait to cut our teeth on this boat and have only enjoyed it for 1 weekend before having to store for the winter.

Now we are launching this week and the work begins. The boat is in great shape and I am looking forward to figuring out all the details of the mechanical side. I hope I can lean on a few of you on this forum for advice and help on enjoying our new (to us) treasure.

Congratulations! Beautiful boat!

Welcome to Club Sea Ray!

friends of ours have one that's similar and love it. Lots of space and very stable in the rough stuff, yours looks like it's in great shape

Howdy All,
Congrats on the 360 Aft Cabin. I've got the 87 version. Slowly but surely upgrading and refurbishing. She's in great shape as she sits. Let me know if you're doing any work, maybe we can compare notes. My two top projects for next week are rebedding the deck hardware and tracking down air horn parts.

Awsome looking boat !!! I was in your shoes 3 years ago and me and the wife bought an 87-390 EC , these old boats are built well, love staying for 3-4 days at a time can't wait to take a long trip, we've been gone for up to a week and that just makes us want more. Just changed the oil and filters on my runabout today it has a 454 Crusader (1974) they are some awesome engines built like a tank...B.B.

It's great to see more AC's floating around. I was a noob only only 8 months ago, perhaps I still am.

Hey Jerry!
Just put down "earnest money" toward a 1987 369 AC and wondering how yours has done, and anything I should pay extra attention to while I wait for the survey and sea trial (when the ice is out here in Minneapolis)
Twin Mercruiser 260Hp, (gas) 5.7 liter V8s; original owner had to put it into storage because of "life events" (daughter had babies, etc) so it didn't make its maiden voyage until 2002!
Thanks!
