We just received information that the Old Hickory Lock will be under maintenance between July 17 - Aug 4. I suppose we will have to find a stop somewhere at the end of July elsewhere. Anyone have suggestions that has transient on the River? I would bet that many boats will be "stuck" on both sides waiting to go through.

Well we made it. Amazing journey through the Great Lakes and inner rivers of the U.S. Situated in our slip and enjoying the calm. Thanks for all your help!

We are at Old Hickory Lake! thanks for asking.
We took about a month but It didn't need to be that long. Probably could have raced through it all in about 2 weeks. We spent a week or so in the North Channel and was held up a few nights due to storms and had to stay put in Charlevois, MI and just south of St. Louis, MI at Kaskaskia Lock.
