I have a 2007 Nissan Titan and I recently received a service recall notice regarding a faulty wiring harness for the cooling fan. According to the service manager at the nearby Nissan dealer, once the vehicle has reached the first 200 miles, there is a possibility the cooling fan will reverse direction which hampers engine cooling. The dealer replaced the cooling fan assembly, installed the new wiring harness free of charge and it took about 2 hrs or so. Just a heads up to anyone owning a Titan may want to contact Nissan if they haven't already been contacted.

I found this number on the Nissan website: 800-936-3073

Is this only on the 2007 model?

I believe so. The letter I received was specifically for my truck but it doesn't hurt to check for your own piece of mind.

What does this have to do with boating? :smt017
Some of us have to tow our boats to the water to go boating. If the tow rig breaks down on the way, it could spoil the day. I suspect the post is to try and help someone avoid this mishap.

Stihl,

I see your boat sits on a trailer and it is not slipped. What good is it when your tow vehicle possibly breaks down on the way to your favorite lake? All you have then is a boat sitting on a trailer. Have a nice summer.

I belong to the Chevy Tahoe board! I agree that a area for tow rigs might be of some use. Let me see if Jim will set one up under sport boats since sports do the majority of tow's. I know, not all, but it might be the best place for it. I'll see what we can do. :smt024
