Hello All,
My 2008 Sundancer 34 with 8.1L's speedo quit on me. The "steam gauge" speedometer and the Vessel View both started to fluctuate wildly then just quit. In searching threads on this I'm finding mention of three diferent types. Pitot, paddle and sensor types. I don't think it has a pitot but not sure about the paddle or sensor. Any ideas? If so what would be the next step to see what's wrong.
Thanks for a great site and help.
Nick

Resurrection of this thread to inquire if you ever found the cause of and solution to your speedo quitting?

Our 2018 SPX190 OutBoard (with 16 hours on it) speedo gradually went out yesterday (as in the needle gradually read lower and lower even when we throttled up and were obviously moving faster; in other words, the needle did NOT just “plummet” to zero), finally bottomed out at zero and then didn’t budge after that.

It was getting late so we just returned to our dock and lift and everything under the dash “looked” in order (to a retired cop which could be scary! :)
