I feel like my leaks is def coming from the bathroom somewhere, seems to be worsening when the shower is being used

Yes I checked the sump pump, operating like it should. So I’m chalking my water issue up to leaving the bathroom window open and rainwater getting in behind the molded shower. There’s a pretty decent gap between the bottom of window and the shower mold so I siliconed that whole area and then I steam cleaned the carpet in aft. Case closed haha

Check under you sink for leaks to that would might drain under the head shell - just a thought. If it happens again see if the carpet is wet inside the vac cabinet under the stairs. That would be the closest carpet below the mid cabin step down.

My head cabinet was always wet during showers - turned out to be a crack in the sink around the drain. Plans are to replace the sink still but all is on hold regarding that since the boat is in use every weekend now.

PierSaver - New Brand? Check under your sofa in the cabin. Amps should be there and you can get the info straight off them. PO may have changed them out from original.

I have an 06 340 Sundancer with a northstar com system. My handheld is no longer transmitting. Does anyone know what handset would be compatible with that?

Do not believe you will find a new replacement. I just replaced mine with a new surface mount unit. The one I chose is from West Marine (made by Uniden). There are several choices out there. It is a lot more user friendly and has all the whistles and bells I needed. Mounted in dash under GPS.

Hey everyone I have wet carpet in my aft cabin, all windows seem to not be leaking, any ideas? Fresh water tank 3/4 full, and we have had some pretty heavy rain recently
I would re-tighten all screws on port holes and check the seals. I had water there and it leaked through the port hole, in the wall, through the drawer below the cabinet and drained on the aft cabin floor. After tightening everything, the problem went away.

If it was that bad you might want to consider removing and rebedding the port light.

I think it’s time for me to replace my ac pump, has anyone done this job? Where did u get the replacement pump?

On my 280, the head port hole wasn’t caulking from the factory. Not sure if it was intentional or not. When I had someone spray water on the outside you could see the water run around the frame, and between the hull wall and the head enclosure.

It’s original, stopped working yesterday, I checked and it was primed, I wacked it with a screwdriver and it started spinning and working again. So I’m not taking any chances. Have a 5 day trip coming up and need it to work

I have changed one out before on a 340, not mine and not a difficult job. One thing that happens with them is the brass cooling tubes that carry water through the motors oil corrode and the water contaminates the lubricating oil it is cooling. At first gets intermittent and then just quits. If you need one, I know that the parts guy at the marina I deal with keeps (2) of them in stock. They run around $500.00. Marina's name - Washburns Boat Yard, 410-326-6701, ask for David. Probably 2 days UPS from Solomons, MD.
