I'll check that this weekend. Thanks for the help.
Faux teak gets very hot in the sun, especially if you live in the south. I put in MarineMat, it's in a teak pattern. It's a foam type material that does not get hot. I did the cockpit and swim platform for about $1200.00 installed.
Not my boat but very similar.
Anybody know where I can order a new vent cover? Model DE0040S
Thats gonna be a tough one I think.
Try the Norcold Guy.
I assumed that would be the case. I will try them! Thank you!
I have a black one -I never threw the frig away after I replaced it -your welcome to it-just need your address
I will take it! I will send you a PM.
I have the faux teak on the back of my 420. It gets so hot in the summer that you can’t walk on it bare footed.
Thanks for the feedback, I may rethink this...
I have infinity. It gets hot too.
This is why I just threw the crappy carpet out, and just go non-skid. Nice and cool, and super easy to clean. I love the look of the faux teak, but until they can make one that lasts 10 years and stays cool in the Florida sun, I’ll stick with non-skid.
+1 on above - searay did a great job fully finishing the sole of the boat with non-skid - it never gets too hot and is easy to maintain - put the carpet in my basement when I got the boat and its still down there lol
