Official 320 Dancer Thread

Thanks for sharing. Was it an easy fix? How did you determine that to be the problem?

thanks!
Very sorry for the late reply. Based on the symptoms and the fact that the helm light would briefly illuminate when i pressed the switch but the system wouldn't stay energized i deduced this to be the issue. Also of the electrical parts to replace this was the least expensive lol so i felt good about starting there. It was an easy swap, biggest problem always is lack of space in ER to maneuver.

So after two years of searching I have given up on finding replacement gauge clusters and I have order replacement gauge clusters from Faria they are part number 33762 which is the black face. The only bummer is that are the same gauge where the SeaRay gauges are different layout for the port and starboard. I am going to have to cut off the 1 piece connector and wire in each individual gauge. I will post pictures here in a month or so when we get some moderate weather and I can get this done.

Id be very interested in seeing pics of this and what wires end up going where. Would love to do this as well.

Just finished my anchor and roller upgrade on my 320. Needed some anchor shine out there. With that being said i have the stock unbent galvanized kodiak for the 320 if anybody needs one

May I ask where you scored this and what it set you back? That looks fantastic....
Lot of fitting and measuring but turned out perfect

ultra marine ubr-16/35 bow roller. 699.00

Ultra flip swivel was 350.00

That thing is sweet. No matter how I try to purposely pull the anchor through the roller wrong, it always rights itself.

The anchor I picked up through marine part depot for 300.00

Here are pictures of the gauges and how you wire them. If you still have your owners manual and your wiring diagram it will identify the color of the wire for each gauge. You will have to cut off the 4 into one connector and add the individual connections that attach to the back of the new gauge. While these are not a match and they are not “book ends” like our current gauge clusters it is the best I could come up with. Plus if anything ever goes wrong you can at least get these serviced.

I noticed the fuel guage is part of the 4 guage cluster now. Will you just make your seperate 2” fuel guage your trim guage instead?

You can send pictures of your gauge clusters to Faria and they will let you know if they make a match....

Wasn’t even thinking v-drives when i asked that. Looked at those gauges today and it will work and definitely freshen the gauge cluster up. Multifunction gauge and then where my fuel gauges were seperate, those 2” holes will become trim gauges. They even make the sync gauge in that same style. Looks like another fun winter project is starting. :)

I went with the color Solar Surfstone. They (Corinthian) already have our cockpit template there and this is a new color they are offering (they will send free samples of all options). The normal price is around $650 but I was able to take advantage of a sale and got it for $550. This is the new material (not traditional carpet) and feels great underfoot. I have had it in the sun here in san diego a little and haven't noticed any heat coming off it. Very pleased overall with the fit and finish. Also, they said I wouldn't need snaps and it would lie in place without but I didn't find that to be true so I went ahead and installed the snaps into the flooring and it fits/holds great.

Hi There! .....I am also thinking about the Solor Surfstone color. Can you post any pictures of what it looks like on your boat? Ken

Has anyone removed the port seat, and if so were there nuts to remove on the forward bolts?

hello again! Not sure if you saw my previous post asking if you post some pictures of the solar surfstone on your boat? Haven’t been able to find any on any other site. Torn between the surfstone; flax; or black pearl.

Hello all, new season in NE upon us again. I had a leak last year in head medicine chest. The access port drips when the rain is heavy and the wind is bad. Im wondering if its the portlight in the head or bow rail stanchion. Looking in to that access port showed access to bow rail mount. I tried to recreate with a real soaking form the hose, but nada.

My first thought would be the portlight seal, I treat mine with a sealant conditioner or petroleum jelly, silicone grease would work as well. But it sounds like the seal is fine if a hose doesn’t cause it to leak...

And I discover another water incursion when winterizing in the fall. Pull up cushions in aft berth and the one on port side right behind the stairs had about a quart of water under it. It may have been there for some time since I never pulled that cushion and it looked to be a bit funky.

I suspect that those two things are related to the same leak. check for a leak around the portlight in the head. I've heard that leaks in this area will end up where you've described.
