Official 320 Dancer Thread

I have a 2004 320 I bought this year. i want to update the GPS and cockpit/arch lightning, does anyone have any suggestions or links they can share? TYIA
I did lumitec mirage rgbw through the cockpit, very nice and they fit right in. Upgraded to a raymarine axiom 9 mfd a couple years back as well.

Seized seacock? I went to replace the waste hose from macerator to the seacock thruhull and I cannot shut the seacock lever. There looks to be some sort of clip or locking mechanism on that particulat seacock. Is that what u guys find?
Anyway im looking for suggestions on the stuck lever on the seacock.

More than likely you cannot open the seacock because it is locked. It is illegal to dump into local waters, so your seacock has a lock on it to show that it is closed in case you are boarded by the authorities.

I see, so how does the lock work may I ask if you know. If its locked, then its locked in the open position allowing discharge of waste. So if im boarded, I could be in trouble. But if im past the 3mile line off the coast I can discharge waste.

So after reading the manual, there is no locking mechanism on that seacock, what i thought was a lock of some sort is the switch to disable the macerator if the seacock isn't open.
I think its just a bit frozen from non use. I'll try some to get some leverage on that handle and maybe a few whacks of hammer

You have to have your own lock. Lock it in the closed position. I most states on the coasts 3 miles out works.

I am beginning to search out a leak that is presenting staining on the forward v burth starboard side on the speaker cover and staining on the vinyl above the bed. Has anyone experienced something similar? My plan is to inspect top side hatches , bow rail hardware, nav lights. Any thoughts?

I have a 2003 320DA and just had same issue last week with the heavy rain we got here on long island. I replaced the v-birth hatch gasket last year, but I think the hatch needs to be re-bedded. The windlass is in the anchor hatch so I don't think that is the issue.

My 2003 320DA arch/cockpit lights were upgraded to RGB LEDs and I also added LED rings to my JL audio 6.5inch arch speakers since the arch wasn't deep enough for the back of the speaker.

I would start with the hatch over the bed and the windlass. These are common leak points and by the vinyl over the bed a likely culprit.
I agree. You can see it in the headliner. Sun pad rail is another culprit.

My macerator discharge pump isn't working, could mine be this switch you noticed? My seacock is closed.

Frank Webster describes opening stuck seacocks, I think he recommends silicone spray, letting it sit, then more, then try it. No whacks with the hammer. I have seen pvc pipe that fits over the handle to help with leverage.

My vent window doesnt open. I tried a new one ,swapping connections. No good. All i get is a click under helm in the fuse box. Fuse is not popped. Any ideas where to look

So did you check the voltage at the motor? Are you getting 12v there, assume no. Could be the kidney pad us bad, and not communicating with the eim, that’s bad. Nit sure what else to check…

If seacock is closed it will disable the macerator so thats what i would try

Did not test for volts. It seems ther is power between pad button and the fuse box, like i said ther is a click from fusebox that i can actually feel. Do those fuses go bad?
