Official 330 Sundancer Thread

anybody had issues with the sparkplug wires coming of the actual sparkplug ?
I went in the engine room to do some maintenance before splashing for the season.. sure enough, 2 out of the plugs were lose on the port engine. This is the 2nd time this happened to me. Last year 2 came off while underway on the starboard side.

Sparkplugs are less than 1 yr old and plugs about 2 seasons. Strange phenomenon I've been experiencing.

Just purchased our 1998 330 Sundancer and will be bringing her home this week!

Talked to our Golden Lift installer to set our bunks and he needs to know the how deep the V is, or the deadrise degree. I pulled the manual out from SR.com and I can't find it anywhere... Does anyone on this thread know what the DR is for a 98'?

Thanks all included a pic since now i'm officially a SR owner!

Congrats! I was at the marina when she got splashed. I keep my boat there, and the previous owner is a friend of mine. You got a real beauty there! Cheers!

Wow, thanks. Mike's a good guy. We're excited to get her home and be out on the water once the snow goes away lol

Got my gen running today! Was not working when I bought it. Bad diode board. The small capacitor mounted on the old board was missing. Not a terrible job.

Hello All,
Hope this season gets under way soon! Have a question about something I can't figure out. LOL I get a lot of exhaust out side hole under cruise on Starboard engine. A little history, Last season raw water pump came apart and motor got pretty hot. A piece of exhaust hose actually came out thru exhaust vent. Replaced pump, motor runs fine, Compression is good, got lucky. But after that the exhaust smell started. I took muffler out and inspected, all look OK ? Pulled exhaust off and inspected for blockage and found none. Question is, has anyone had this happen ? Has anyone replaced the muffler for any reason. They are expensive but I would try to see if it helps. Any thoughts, ideas welcome.

I found this parts manual with diagrams for a 1999 330DA

Enjoy

hey guys im new i just bought a new 2001 sundancer 340. but both engines are fried! having a hard time to find new twin engines for it!

I've got the Owner's Manual for a 1998 330 but am looking for the "brochure." Anyone have and electronic version (pdf) they'd forward to me? The Sea Ray Archives does NOT have one.

Thanks.

There's a 340 thread around here too but I don't think it'll help a whole lot. If you just bought a 340 with two bad engines...I hope you knew they were bad and/or had a survey? No sea trial? I hope you got a screaming, raging deal on her.

What would be causing my port engine alarm to go off? Gauges are all reading fine. It’s running fine and no burning smells coming from engine compartment. I shut it down for a while, start it up and it doesn't happen again. (it did happen twice while boating yesterday)

Thanks all.
