Park Marina on Lake Allatoona charges like $565 yearly WiFi services on our dock. Would be cheaper but due to location a hard wired wi-fi router is required.

Damn! Fortunately WiFi is free at our marina. I guess $575 broke down over the whole year ain't to bad.

Yeah, But since we don't spend much time on the dock, it seems to be waist. Also know our cell phone and especially data flow is turtle slow. Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile doesn't matter. All modem slow. We have a 650 movie media computer in parlor set up. I keep it full of movies as best as possible.
During overnight weekend outings, we use liquor, beer dancing and each other for board-em relief efforts. Sure as hell can't rely on the internet on lake Allatoona.

Progress but the details are adding frustrations.
Tonight was port engine harness repairs and modifications to add purple power to feed the new carb electric choke power and ground as well as purple power for the up and coming electric fuel pump. I also added a wire from small starter solenoid to fuel pump to allow fuel pump power during starter engagement. Looking to loom wire harness with the plastic stuff. Black tape seems so old school and super sticky during servicing. If I can't find the stuff then I'll use electrical tape. I also added some progress pictures of this endless project.
Tomorrow I'm lifting engine from wood shipping crates to see what I can do with the oil cooler hoses and perhaps cutting away the area of the filter adapter so I can run them in the crates for timing, carb mixture & idle adjustments as well as leak checks. Cooling system is tight but await the two over-temp audible switches due to arrive tomorrow. Thanks for allowing me to long wind respond to this 350 thread.. Night

Got some work done today, hung a small flat screen in the v-birth.

Dash restoration under way, got new panels and gauges coming from FP Marine. Going to replace the push breakers on the DC panel while I'm there and replace the back lighting on the switch panels. Putting a 12" Garmin and Garmin VHF in the side radar panel.

Wow, You have been busy. You have a newer and nicer layout at helm. Also looks like more involved to pull helm upholstery away. Can you look at the idea of selling me the circuit breaker and switch panel once your done installing the FP package?
Also know you have a much nicer gauge layout than the straight across configuration on ours.
    Looking good inside as well.
:(My progress came to a screeching halt this evening.. While moving the stbd engine out of garage on cheap hoist to adjust crate; one of the legs found its way into my bay 1 garage grate gap for water routing.
I have ice on right thumb. wife wrapped my tore up arm and one big block Chevy on driveway concrete this evening. Yup. Not a good end to the weekend.
Broke stbd bell-housing in half. (New on order from Fort Myers - $400). Bent oil pan but hopefully not to bad.
Man these BBC are heavy dressed. Oh well nothing money can't fix. Man my thumb is throbbing. Bigger hoist coming tomorrow from a friend..

It's all yours whenever I get the rest of it apart, you just pay the shipping and you can have the panels. You were right, it was a bitch coming apart. Dreading putting it back together, especially the chrome grab handle.

Holy shit man! I hate that happened, that's some of my luck. But your right, nothing money can't fix and thankfully no broken bones. BBC dressed out is a heavy turd. I always get nervous when they are hanging on my chain hoist.

Nah going together isn't bad so long as once you've installed the FP pac you install the long piece first followed by that single chrome bar bolt closest to shifter levers first... Yes thats first to install and last to pull for the chrome holing bar. Thumb size of leg going to bed..

This 1" i.d green stripe gates heater hose is perfect for our closed cooling cruisers. had I known how much needed to replace it all, I would have gone this route. Amazon selling for less than $3.50 ft.
I locally purchased 12ft for $6.50ft. Would love another 12ft. but due to a $400 set back think I'll pass on replacing the water neck to bottom of exhaust manifold 1" hoses for now. Here's a link to a great deal on 50ft of this awesome D1 rated stuff.

Super nice 75F day thus 24th day of Feb.
Friend came over to help drink my 30pack and assist with the 454 engine details following engine dress up wows and an injured hand. It feels a whole lot better today. Not sure if its the 30 pack?? but feel sure now hand injury is not a Bennett's Fracture as originally suspected.

We took the stbd engine locally to a hyd hose shop for totally different remote oil filter hose map out. Hydraulic Supply in Marietta, GA hooked us up with all brass fittings for the oil filter adapters, oil coolers as well as 20ft. of rated hose for $300 (Could be worse)
Hoses are higher temp rated, a little higher on pressure rating and easier to work with as system is cut to length and push on by me. No clamps needed and not recommended. Only problem is the hose is crusader blue in color. Might look cool against phantom merc black.

Also good news is I believe narrowing in on the Electric fuel pump installation issues. We chose the two intake manifold bolts with some .750'X.800" standoffs which locates the carter pump at the very front top area over intake manifold looking straigt down to the raw water pump. The carter FP lays parallel to intake and valve covers in a very cool looking fashion. Also will be easy to service the engine(s). This position additionally lends plenty of room for plumbing challenges. I'll share pictures once closer.
I'm again excited. Short roads. I'll post pictures soon.

I'm glad to hear the hand wasn't as bad as you had thought, sounds like you are well on your way getting your last kinks worked out on the Gen 6 conversions. Post pics of your fuel pump mounting when your done, that sounds like it's going to work great.
