My ice-maker was replaced with a 12v compressor fridge by a previous owner, and it looks like the space has been modified.
What I can tell you is that there is quite a bit of space in there though, since my fridge just slides out easily.

Someone broke my jumpseat above it and pucshed the seatback way too far. :( I believe i will have to remove the fridge to get to the seat

Ahhh, there's a job nearly everyone has to do at some point me included. I'm sure I read about it in thread a few times...
Good luck getting it out!

Is there a search feature for this thread? How can you find that info about the seat without going through 188 pages

Nevermind found it! :)

screws around the trim (if they are still there), and pull out of the cavity. The ice maker is awkward to handle. Compressor is set way back to the rear, and that is a tight space. You may be able to pull it out far enough to get an arm up to the top of the cavity, where you will remove 4 nuts off the threaded bolts (maybe 6, I forget). Then the seat lifts straight up.

Got it sorted thanks all.

I actually quite prefer not having a seat there. Opens the space right up.

Ok next project.

I have surface rust forming on the manifolds on both engines that face the centre of the bilge. Im having trouble finding the right type of paint to stop the rust from coming back. Has anyone come across a product that works?

Cheers

Have you tried a rust converter as an undercoat after you remove the surface rust?

Gentlemen...searched the thread but no luck. 1995 370.. I removed all my old electronics from my dash. It seems the power comes from a breaker panel in engine compartment with RED covers with amp numbers on tip. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to remove power/fuses. Old wiring still in dash (I want to terminate power) as well as radar still installed on arch. Any suggestions?

The breakers don't have any manual on/off capability. You can always turn the battery switch to off. Is it port or starboard? Not sure. Turn one off, and if that doesn't work turn the other one off. They are under the cockpit sink
Here is the wiring schematic for the 98, which should be substantially the same as the 95.When the power gets to the helm, it is distributed across multiple breakers to different points through a panel of breakers under the helm, in a pull down door.
Don't know if they had done this yet in the 95, but I'll bet they did.

Ok that basically answered my question. They are most likely powered/wired to the drop-down panel under helm. Weird why they would have them marked on a panel box in engine compartment. Thank you for your response AS ALWAYS! You are very helpful here to a lot of folks and we appreciate you.

Anyone have a good pic of the labels surrounding the electrical panel at the base of the helm inside the little kick door? I am replacing the fuses as they are really corroded from water infiltration but the labels are no longer readable. So not really sure what does what at this point and I am trying to figure out why I lost my navigation lights.

Anyone else have nav light issues maybe? Is there any know issues as I could not find anything definititve in the posts.

Thanks for the help!

Those aren't fuses. They are circuit breakers. Known issues for nav lights are universal across all boats. Corroded connections in the light fixtures, corroded connection at the switch(s), faulty wiring not providing voltage to the switch(s).
Here are 2 documents you should not be without. Supplement is too big to post here, so I made a link to it.

I have a fuse block on the kick door with a number of connections? Is that not standard and maybe added by a previous owner?

post a picture of what you are talking about. The only fuse block I have is behind helm, for accessories, like radar, vhf, chart plotter, etc. Maybe in 1995 it was mounted where you say. The parts manual is based on the 1995 model for the most part.

Hello, have a 1991 370 Sundancer. I am having a problem with tach and ried to find info on mine. Manual says part no is 496943. I can find nothing anywhere on this tach.
Not even sure what the make is to help find it. Anyone have this problem? Appreciate any help.

regards, Gary

It sounds like an old tach. Probably best off with a modern replacement. I am using Faria. Good luck.
